So what is the mystery?

Warning: Spoilers
It stays unclear just like everything else in this 20 minute movie. IMDb lists it at 27, but all versions I found were shorter, probably more frames per second, does not look like it was cut. "The Mysteries of the Château de De" or "Les mystères du château de Dé" is a black-and-white silent short film by Man Ray and it features Geurges Auric playing himself. One of the rare occasions, during which we saw the famous composer in front of the camera, long long before his biggest successes and Emmy nomination. In terms of the story, it's everything foggy in here. this is nothing new for Man Ray's films, but I missed the artistic touch completely here. this was never beautiful to look at and the story, if there was one, was absolutely impossible to understand. Maybe Man Ray should have stayed with photography. The final shot at the dice and thus referencing back to the title is a really uncreative way to finish the film. Not worth the watch at all. Thumbs down.
