When I first watched the pilot, shortly after watching a few episodes of TWD, I thought to myself; finally, a zombie show with some type of intelligence and decent writing. Yea, I know the whole zombie premise may take a little getting used to, but the pilot had wit, likable characters, and a plot that could actually go somewhere. Fast forward a few days later (and some binge watching) and I ended up on what I think is the jewel of the first season so far.
All I can say is that this episode truly won me over and will more than likely cause me to watch every single episode of this entertaining series going forward in search of one that is just as good. I hope I won't be disappointed.
Without giving away any spoilers, Daran Norris is priceless as Johnny Frost. Laugh out loud funny. If you don't at least get a chuckle when he comes dancing out of the bathroom, check your pulse.
