Fred recounts a tale of Harry, a colleague that would never take his hat off at work, and Danny buys a new video cassette recorder from local villain' son Steve Churcher.
Danny records an episode of Rising Damp (one of the classics!!) and plays it over and over much to everyone's disbelief and eventual annoyance. Fred and his fellow Dockers are facing redundancy, and a security firm has been brought in to put an end to all of their swindles. Danny resorts to selling home made cassettes to pay for his Video player.
I absolutely loved this once again, it's just a joy to watch. I loved Danny's reaction to seeing the Video player, it must have been insane back in the day to have had one. I loved Fred's tricks in the Dock Yard, and his reaction to daughter Sharon's forthcoming wedding.
Peter Kay is just a star, he is so much fun to watch. This show was never going to fail now was it.
