The Amazons, er female Jaffa, are back. This time Rya'c is marrying one of them, Ishta (the leader) is ready to overthrow her false god Goa'uld, and Teal'c is generally unhappy with everything.
There's some good action in the end. A Goa'uld learns the meaning of a laser dot. He can't brush it away. Teal'c does some nifty work with two staff weapons tied together.
But the messages of women's equality and children growing into adults are lame.
Guess what? Ba'al takes over from the opposed Goa'uld, just as Teal'c predicted.
The actor who portrays Rya'c looks decidedly un-warrior-like. He looks like a book worm. There's a scene in which he works out with a staff. He can barely hold the staff. But I guess they had to keep going with the same actor.
The best part of the episode is a ping pong match between Teal'c and O'Neill.
