Brothers (I) (2015)

Let's not compare 'Brothers' with 'Warrior"
17 August 2015
Firstly hats off to the people who've watched 'Warrior'. Indeed it is a good movie. Now, let's speak of 'Brothers'. Too many emotional scenes in the movie especially the 1st half which kinda felt excessive for most of the youth viewers. Second half of the movie is of course with lot of fight sequence yet it was disappointing especially when we have Akshay Kumar in the lead. Not to blame him when we have the action choreographer or directors around. Yes, there were few mind-blowing scenes of him yet nothing that you can carry with you home after the movie ends. In terms of acting, I'm not a fan of Jackie Shroff yet I personally find his best performance after 'Gardish'. Shefali Shah & Jaqueline Fernandes both justify their little yet important roles. From the start until the end of the movie one person who impresses is Akshay & the one who disappoints is 'Siddharth Malhotra' i.e., from acting to the action in the movie. Though I don't want to compare the characters with the ones in 'Warrior' yet 'David' is the upgraded version of 'Brendon' however don't find 'Monty' anywhere near to 'Tommy'. SAD. I wish we could see more of Ashutosh Rana especially when he was playing a important role. Watch it for Akshay Kumar, Jackie shroff, Shefali Shah, the background score, the 1st of its kind action scenes & plz, plz ignore Siddharth Malhotra & Kareena Kapoor.
