This is a nice Barney episode and more about his mysterious father. It is sad how Barney never knew his dead and believed all his mother told him. And yet it is very fun how he tries to avoid meeting his real dad while his brother takes him to see the man. Only it turns out it is James's father. Here it again gives us a mixture of sadness and humor when Barney chooses to believe that it is his father as we and he might be black. Which also leads to a beautiful ending when Barney at the end declines to find out from his mother who his dad is, since she was always the real dad to him.
Besides that we get some fun moments with Robin making mistakes when either overpraising or making Ted look bad when trying to hook him up with her friend.
