The opening talks about sex and has a hilarious narrative. It will make you laugh and smile. The narrative voice is perfect, just the right tone. There is nudity T&A in this movie so this is a mature movie. This is a nice cute humorous film about cheating. Phil is your average ordinary guy who is just not getting enough sex from his wife Evelyn. Well Phil thinks sex is the answer while Evelyn wants them to get closer emotionally. Phil Phil does go through a lot in his quest to have sex. He does meet all kinds of women. The actors are talented. Their emotions are brought across through words and body language. Gene Phil's mechanic is a secondary character. He though plays his role so well. His acting ability makes him stand out he gives himself a presence. The Canadian Mountie shown is silly. He is so overboard as to be utterly ridiculous. Phil's attitude as he has success seems to change. Than it changes again. The movie does pick on Canada a little to much. ( Or maybe I just notice it more because I am a Proud Canadian.) Evelyn exploring and trying to understand her marriage and Phil is a journey she goes on. It is as much fantasy as reality. The ending will leave you stunned. There are actually three different endings, you can choose the one you like best. The symbology of Evelyn picking the apple to share with Phil is a great play on Adam and Eve. There are some weird and strange things that happen throughout this movie, like seeing the planet Saturn in the sky. This movie is a fun entertaining comedy with twists that will surprise you. The movie will help you explore your own relationship.
