John Ritter and Audra Lindley's passionate kiss at the end

Did John Ritter have any affair with Audra Lindley? At the end of this special Family Feud episode they kissed too passionately (it certainly didn't look as a regular colleagues' kiss). The video is available in YouTube. I have searched in other sources but it doesn't mention anything regarding this matter. Perhaps that was the way they used to interact with each other in the cast. By the time Ritter was approx. 28 and single and Lindley was approx. 58 and married, but divorced a couple of years later. As with any personal information, there is room for many speculations, however there might be readers who know the answer and could also provide a reference to back it up and make sure is not a mere speculation or personal assumption.
