Not watching felony is a crime

Warning: Spoilers
What a movie, I thought to myself while watching it, whereas here was such a real life scenario, with a hardened young cop, covering up a crime, on account of getting behind the wheel, a little pie eyed, where a little knock can make a hell of a difference, where as consequence, a lying and guilt stricken hell ensues. We have one hell of a dangerous triangle involving three cops, the hitter (Edgerton) the fix it cop (Wilkinson) and the young law abiding cop (Courtney) who will not stop at nothing to get to the truth. The situations and choices, guilty party, Edgerton must make, were so believable where at no time did we deviate from this story. Although Wilkinson who steals this movie easy, a white angel of savior for Edgerton, who tries to paint himself off, as a justful, Mr Do Right of a cop, who thinks his s..t don't stank, the truth be said, what it boils down to ethically is, he's doing very wrong covering up this crime, where a young Indian teen doing his newspaper route, is fighting for life, suspended in a coma. Edgerton is solid and truly believable, though I really found it hard to sympathize with the guy, except at the end, when the well broke open, Edgerton, a real true display of woe and emotion, guilt eating him up alive. Melissa George was great dramatically, too, siding with her husband, one thing I thought she wouldn't do. Courtney was a straight solid professional, where I was really impressed by him, and was great to walk in his shoes, and follow his killing suspicions, to get to the heart of the real perpetrator, as he was like a dog with a bone, where Wilkinson, who causes most of the laughs, which are not plentiful, where Courtney provides some too, just blew me away. Honestly it didn't overstep it's mark in it's amusing antidote of moments, but here was just the perfect amount, in light of the real dramatic, and tense story at play. One thing I liked, in it's conclusion, was one decision, by the Sister of the victim, which I never saw coming, which it ended that scenario, but I can understand her making that decision, where a shock admission was just too much for her. Here's one of the freshest Aussie movies in years. Good, solid, tight, story structure, with a good work of situations. Felony is good but not great, with Edgerton, indeed, one multi talented guy, who you can't sell short as an actor either.
