I had seen the movie when i was very young This was a bit different from Masala movies churned out during 90s . Anil Kapoor acting is good Juhi Chawla average . Music is very weak dialogues are good. overall its average entertainer, remake of a Tamil Movie.The movie was a Box office disaster mainly due to its music and lack of masala the rape scenes were very violent and not suitable for viewing for children. Anil kapoor is a good actor and does full justice to the title role.Juhi Chawla acting is at best passable and stereotype. the late Amrish Puri does a good job as Jaikaal. The original movie from which this a frame to frame copy is a much better one . If you can understand tamil then definitely watch the original one .
