As steamy as all of the graphic sex action is, the adult nature of Hardgore soon gets very tedious; thank heavens then that the film is also pretty darn trippy and occasionally nasty enough to just about warrant a viewing, with an all-pervading psychedelic vibe (aided by a really cool soundtrack), some bizarre hallucinatory dream sequences, and just a touch of gruesome gore (a slashed throat, a severed schlong, and a beheading).
