It's a pleasure to watch a US film that isn't annoying, glitzy, phony, overdone, pretentious, etc... for a change. Just on that basis alone, the film deserves a watch. The high point for me came when one of our 'heroes' kissed the girl, as he was about to risk his life to hunt down the mole man, and rather than melt in his arms, she tells him she's not interested in him, and is going with someone else. Then she calls him back, and rather than changing her mind, asks him if she should call the police, like any normal person would do in a situation like this. It's that type of sense of humor that makes this movie a total pisser. Let's hope these guys make other films like this that are just honest, funny films, and don't sell out to the demographic driven losers of Hollywood.
