The Demented (2013)
forgivable B movie until the ending
25 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler This movie actually angered me enough to create an account and review it. The movie is reasonable enough as a B movie with cheesy dialogue, pointless and poorly written plot points, and camera angles and shots that shy away from the parts where you'd put special effects and the gore. All of that I'm fine with, but what is not okay is the enormous plot-hole at the end. And once again I said SPOILER ALERT.

The movie ends with one of those fake outs, where the last survivors run up to a roof and flag down a rescue helicopter and take off to (presumably) live happily ever after, the end. BUT then you get a hazy wipe and they are back on the roof, as if she had just imagined being saved, and the helicopter rescuer tells her that they are full and have no room for them. WHY IN THE HELL WOULD THE HELICOPTER LAND TO TELL THEM THAT. If you're full then go unload and come back and you certainly don't land and endanger your full helicopter to a disease/infection just to tell someone they're out of luck. Fricken absolutely ruined the movie for me right there and inspired me to rant.
