Warning: Spoilers
Fourth season episode from Spelling-Goldberg's slightly-weathered hit series "Charlie's Angels" finds Farrah Fawcett returning to her iconic role as Jill Munroe, here madly in love with a notorious jewel thief who is plotting to rob a celebrated opera star of her priceless diamond (which she keeps locked up in a box next to a cobra!). Timothy Dalton is the millionaire smoothie who seems to have Jill under his spell; she even tersely rebuffs old friend Kelly and kid sister Kris when they try to intervene (Tiffany, played by Shelley Hack, is kept out of Farrah's line of fire, as is Bosley). Has Jill succumbed to the dark side, or could this be an elaborate ploy to nab the infamous Ice Cat? Well-played episode is certainly a highlight of beleaguered Season 4, wherein cool and aloof Hack failed to click with the cast--and with the milieu in general. Luckily, Tiffany isn't around much this time, and fashionable Farrah (still looking terrific) has a few verbal jousts with her old comrades which makes for an exciting dynamic. Getting handsome guest star Dalton (soon to be 007) was also a remarkable coup for the program.
