I really like the way this episode is built: it begins with a scene that makes no sense, involving two white-clad gentlemen who are able to erase Wyatt from memory and history, along with everything associated with him... including said scene. This means that, as the episode really kicks in and the sisters quickly realize that they are forgetting something, we are just as curious as they are to retrace their steps and to learn how things got so messed up. And the best thing is that they STILL get messed up. (The same device had been used with great success in Charmed and Dangerous: know the danger, try to avoid it and run straight into it instead).
The rest of the episode is just as fun. Without Wyatt, Piper transfers all her mothering instincts onto her sisters and poor Chris cannot even remember what he's doing here -which leads him to finding other "hobbies" besides hunting demons. Fun! And it doesn't stop when the Charmed Ones manage to re-live the day before and realise that Wyatt's idea of "fun" is a tad extreme (but still, go Wyatt! Who hasn't dreamt of having their favourite TV show characters come alive?). The dragon is wonderfully done, and Piper's clever idea: to have Wyatt vanquish it by showing him that no, this is *not* a nice, safe pal, is a nice alternative to potions and demonic explosions.
Finally, the Cleaners neatly explain why magic was never busted despite everything that happened over the last few years, and the fact that they will be seen and mentioned again later on adds continuity to the show. (We might ask why they didn't intervene when the exposition of magic led to Prue's death, but that would be petty.) And the last part, when the Charmed Ones find ANOTHER great and innovative way of dealing with them, is just hilarious. Especially if you consider that they're basically doing the same thing Wyatt did, but on a much larger scale, and with the Golden Gate Bridge instead of a dragon.
So: an original plot with a lot of twists, good character work, a lot of laughs, and fantastic SFX. Who's complaining?
