Stargate: Continuum (2008 Video)
7/10
Lacks continuity with the series.

Warning: Spoilers
For those who have been long time fans of SG-1 and SGA this movie will be fairly predictable. If you saw the episode Moebius, you'll recognize the rehashed plot. Continuum is way better than Moebius however. It's also better than Ark of Truth. But as far as I'm concerned, SG-1 ended with Lost City. The character of Cameron Mitchell is a carbon copy of John Crichton, and ***spoiler*** I was really hoping he'd get killed at least once during Continuum. Long time fans might also spot a contradiction to the season 3 episode Point of View, the one with two Carters, as duplicate characters seem to have no problems in Continuum. Yes, I know the method of duplication was different, but the principle is the same.

All in all, Continuum is worth watching. It would have been a great episode, for a movie I guess I was looking for something more, like an original story. The writers ran out of ideas, and it shows.
