This is a movie by a man that sees humanity before ethnicity. Empathy before identity. Truth before tribalism - read patriotism. Its a creative way to put forward the view upon what truth is and how we choose our truth. The quasi-critique of its patriotism is just a mere sign of the top of the ice berg of irrationality that has molded the conservative USA regarding this war. War has goods ands bads, war has ups and downs - but war is always the same - murderer of truth and innocence. Denying that is to lie in your own face. Some might live with that, the rest of us wouldn't be able to watch ourselves in the mirror if we did.
