Great picture, emotional, lovely photography, very good acting

I really enjoyed this movie because the characters and plots not only maintained my interest but made me feel as though I was witnessing a moving series of events that culminated in a sad, realistic and surprising ending. It clearly is a "tear jerker" but I would not classify it a "chick flick". The acting is outstanding. In fact the casting enhanced the movie by matching the actors so well to their characters. The photography of the New Jersey shore is stunningly beautiful. And the film's direction is clear and crisp. I particularly liked the delicate handling of the "older" man and teenage girl. In fact, this movie proves you can have wholesome attraction and interaction between a man and a girl without blatant sex.
