Forbidden Fruits (2006 Video)
1/10
Hilarious (not in a good way)

Warning: Spoilers
Not only was the film cheap looking but the acting was less than mediocre. I laughed the entire time; not at any comedic performance but because of how bad this movie was. I was excited about the synopsis on the back and was assured that even though it was a low budget film it would be good (most likely).

Wrong answer! I should have known better when I saw Keith Sweats name flash across the screen. The pairings were interesting but a little bit too ironic. The sister of a black man gets with a middle eastern man and the black man, in turn, gets with the middle eastern man's sister all the while everyone is objecting to the others relationship...coincidence? I won't "spoil" the movie for you (though the whole thing is a spoil if you ask me) but the ending is very unrealistic and just down right cheesy. I'd have to say the best part was when the credits rolled.

I was happy that they explained some of the cultures and the origin of them. If it had been a documentary I probably would have watched and enjoyed it more than this waste of film Marc Cayce pulled out of the porcelain throne. This movie could have been a lot better and I was VERY disappointed because the plot seemed so interesting.

Maybe someone else, years from now, will remake this movie and show Marc how it's done.
