I watched this episode last night and I know I recognized the actor who plays the officer heading the investigation regarding Mac and the guy on the roof. I'm nearly positive that it's Mykelti Williamson who played "Bubba" in Forrest Gump. I don't recognize him from any other episodes, and I can't be sure, but I'd lay money down that the two "Gump" costars are sharing screen time again in CSI: NY. Ironically, this time it's Bubba in control and Lt. Dan who's getting the short end of the stick. Did anyone else make the connection or am I just out in left field? That's all I have to say about that. However, to fill this out, it was a really odd episode, but they managed to pull off what I thought was going to be a narrative mess.
