Beautiful , in spite of unnecessary changes.

This "Time and the Wind" is a beautiful adaptation from Érico Veríssimo's novel : aesthetically excellent, epic, respectful and faithful to Veríssimo's spirit, excellent performances (highlighted to Tarcísio Meira , in his best performance) and wonderful music by Tom Jobim (I like to say that the series's main theme can be compared with the "Lara's Theme" from "Gone with the Wind"). Unfortunately , they got some unhappy and unnecessary alterations in the history, like Eulália's (Ana Terra's sister-in-law) blindness and barely insane personality, that doesn't exist in the book. And don't make mistake: in spite of the series if call "Time and the Wind , as if it cover all the book, the series covers only the first part from the Terra-Cambará's saga, titled "The Continent". In spite of all this things, it's one of the greatest TV series made in Brazil.
