The movie talks about the life of several people under the communist regime.It talks about unqualified and irresponsible leaders who were leaders because they were party members. It also talks about how the party members did anything to please the dictator and his wife. The movie relates to romanian people who lived under the communist regime. The movie was made quick after the revolution and the actors are not so good. I have seen better movies about romanian life under the communist regime. There is a lot of pornography that has nothing to do with the story. Nevertheless the story presents the drama of people under the communist regime. A much better movie about the life under the communist regime in Romania is The Earth's Most Beloved Son. I hope this helps. Enjoy the movie.
