It's a really excellent drama that debunked human's evil. I believe that everybody who watches it for the first time will have a great shock! I don't know if all the people can feel the subtle relationship between Makoto and Ruga .It's pure love ,I mean.However,Ruga has his own weakness in his character because of his family ,maybe.And it is this weakness that cause the ultimate tragedy,of course other teachers and classmates are more of evil .But Ruga who falls in love with Makoto and was considered as the only friend by Makoto,gave Makoto the greatest hit.
Kinki kids (the Domotos)really did an amazing work in this Drama ,just because of which they had began their KIRAKIRA entertainment career.
ps,I am afraid that you have made a big mistake about the cast that it is TSUYOSHI played MAKOTO not KOICHI !
