I must agree with the other posters saying this is the worst episode of Doctor who...ever.
As to the claims of subtlety...really? A naff Scooby doo chase subtle? Jackie doing the slapper routine again subtle? A cheap blow job gag subtle? A tedious monologue which seemed it would never end subtle? R.T.Davies does 'subtle' about as well as G.W.Bush.
And funny? Well, I know there's no acounting for taste but I would recommend those who found this amusing to buy some Chuckle brothers DVD's.
One of the saddest things about it was its waste of talent, Shirley Henderson is fabulous and Peter Kay can sometimes be genuinely funny, I felt sorry for both of them in this horrible mess.
