The Black Hole (2006 TV Movie)
10/10
Saved by a single actress
15 June 2006
The Movie would have been a total waste of money except it was saved by a single actress Julia Sinks who played the extremely important role of Kaylee-Judd Nelson's daughter. She played her role flawlessly and acted with a sincerity shown only by the greatest of Actresses. Her short scenes showed the intense emotional roller coaster the people of St. Louis were feeling she singlehandedly set the whole mood of the movie. The only comments I have against the movie concern first, the part of the movie where the arch is ripped into the powerful black hole and Kaylee is not able to shed a single tear for the famous gateway to the west, and second at the end when the general commented on Kaylee's great body, (a very true statement!), and hugged her what a creep. Now if that isn't sexual harassement then I don't know what is what a sexual predator. I can't wait to see the incredibly talented Julia Sinks receiving her first of many Oscars.
