Warning: Spoilers
When Kingdom Hearts 1 came out, I was thrilled. A new game that mixed Disney and Final Fantasy, who wouldn't want to play? When the second one came out, I instantly pounced on it. The story is 1 year after the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Sora, after defeating Marluxia, a member of Organization 13, was put to sleep in order to restore his lost memories. Waking up, he finds a new threat in the creatures known as Nobodies, those who are a shell of ones without hearts. As the game progresses, Sora begins to discover that Organization 13 is planning something that will change the worlds forever. The storyline moves with utter grace, and after a huge twist mid-way through the game, the story moves lightning fast into the final world, boss, and ending. The ending is beautiful, and anyone who played the original and cared for these characters will definitely get misty eyed. Of course, in true Square-Enix fashion, everything is set up for a third, but after playing this game, I am looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 3. A definite must-buy, and in my opinion, 2006's Game of the Year!
