Review of Kenmore Ave

Kenmore Ave (2005)
10/10
"Kenmore Ave" - A fast paced must see thriller.
5 October 2005
"Kenmore Avenue" holds you from beginning to end with its fast pace and intrigue. Director, Nunzio Fazio keeps you on the edge of your seat as he takes you on a wild ride through Hollywood with characters Lars and Danielle. He masterfully directs the camera putting the audience right in the center of this fast paced psychological thriller. As I watched this film I kept feeling I was in the car with them. I was fascinated by the way he craft fully switches our POV between interior delusion and exterior flight. Lisa Crosato is compelling as she tries to understand and help her ex-lover in the volatile circumstances they find themselves in. The seamless edgy editing of Ed Marx, contributes greatly to Nunzio's cinematic vision. This well told story is a great example of cutting edge film-making on a shoestring budget. I was riveted to the screen. Every camera shot was visually interesting. I wholeheartedly recommend that you see this film.
