OK, seemed nice to look at, but while viewing the movie, it was obvious to me, that the story was abruptly broken up and was going to end in a way like 'ok, guys, we are trough our initial budget and we have to finish this one quickly'. The first 45 minutes or so had some interesting baseline for a good story and movie. Let's say they really and actually DID create the perfect breed and made an open end for Species IV ??!! But, no, instead there suddenly is a man, falling down from sky and just saying 'Kill them all'. And that's what (almost !!??) happens in the last 10 minutes or so of the movie. So they could have make a far more better movie, and if they where following the baseline of the story and took a different path in it, the movie should last 2 hours or more..... and be MUCH MUCH better. The ending was s***ing....... That about the story. It's just like somebody who has begun writing a good book and was at chapter 5 from 12, but had only 1 night left to finish it. Ashame.... Then the special effects. Sorry for those who made them, but my DVD-recorder has a pause button and can play still's.....(Would they have realized that ????). A big goof at 95 minutes or so, where the security man get's cut in half vertically. If you replay the scene step by step in forward direction is TOO OBVIOUS to see that both half's of the man falling apart are overlapping each other. If you fit them together you probably get another alien type: One with 2 noses and 2 widely spread eyes..... It's a joke !!! Also the toilet scene earlier was a good moment for special effects, but what did we see ???, right, Nothing !!! The director skipped over the scene itself and we see only a hole in something that should be a men's head afterwords. Come on.... Recommend it it ?? If you are a species fan, it's a kind of must to see. Want quality like Alien or something ??? SKIP THIS ONE...
