3/10
One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Garfield was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The movie is based on the comic strips and the late 80's early 90's television show, Garfield and Friends. There was no real character development which we could see. Also, there was no real plot to the movie. Garfield was also too slow and not that well written. It lacks the substance that any good movie should have. Bill Murray gave a weak performance as the fat orange feline. Breckin Meyer gave a terrible performance as Jon. Stephen Tobolowsky, played Happy Chapman, the 'villain,' of the film. However, I didn't buy him in that role at all. I've seen Bill Murray in much better films, including Rushmore, Groundhog Day and What About Bob? The only good thing in this film is the lovely Jennifer Love Hewitt, who plays Liz, Jon's love interest in the film. If you like Jennifer Love Hewitt, I would recommend seeing I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, and Heartbreakers. Overall I gave the movie 3 out of 10 stars.
