BABS is not one of those comedies where you laugh your ass off, by every act of the funny characters. It is an honest film, of a kindred spirit with an edge. Though, never a great fan fan of Kaandorp, that has changed with seeing her act in this movie... No 'pretentious know-it-all comedian, but like the film, carefully mesmerizing in little abstract dialogues and situations... seeing is believing?
