This was easily the best of the series, especially since the film makers had some money to work with. The technical side of this film was also much better than Ernest Goes to Camp, with better editing and a more complicated production design. However, the great thing that seemed to be missing in this film was the fact Ernest's stint at camp was never mentioned, or mentioned in any of the movies. But then again, why should anyone ponder such questions in regards to this film series.
