Both “Jason Bourne” and “Bad Moms” are on track to get more than they bargained as they open wide this weekend. Universal’s Bourne sequel, starring Matt Damon, had a stronger-than-expected opening Friday, bringing in $22.7 million from 4,026 screens. That puts predictions on the spy thriller above $60 million — when the studio indicated earlier in the week it would have been happy with north of $40 million. Also Read: 'Jason Bourne' Beats Up Box Office Competition With Strong $4.2 Million Thursday A similar happy surprise comes with Stx comedy “Bad Moms,” starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Christina Applegate, Kathryn Hahn and Jada Pinkett Smith.
