San Francisco/New Delhi, Jan 7 (Ians) As Big Tech miserably failed to spot, act and tackle the US Capitol chaos going viral and being live-streamed, voices grew louder on Thursday to remove President Donald Trump altogether from digital platforms for inciting the mob and staging the coup, saying blocking him for couple of hours won't be enough.
Several tech leaders and social activists called on Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to move beyond labelling Trump messages, and aggressively curb his posts amplifying and endorsing violence.
"Twitter and Facebook have to cut him (Trump) off. There are no legitimate equities left and labeling won't do it," Alex Stamos, Facebook's former chief security officer, said in a tweet.
"You've got blood on your hands, (Jack) and Zuck. For four years you've rationalized this terror. Inciting violent treason is not a free speech exercise. If you work at those companies,...

While the latest (and last) trailer for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” was short on any real plot specifics, it was heavy on somber emotional beats. And fans were hit especially hard after the video arrived Monday night by a scene that appears to suggest C-3Po may not be long for this galaxy far, far away.
The scene happens midway through the trailer, when we see what looks like a tiny little welding droid doing… something to the back of Threepio’s head. “What, uh, what are you doing there, Threepio?” asks a worried Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).
“Taking one last look, sir,” says Threepio, who pauses long enough that we can tell Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) are also really worried. Threepio adds, “at my friends.”
At that, R2D2 does a sad whine, Threepio appears to comfort him, and then Chewbacca does a sad growl.

Billionaires Mark Cuban and Chris Sacca have it out in a furious row on this week’s Shark Tank — when they disagree over a business. The pair’s row comes as they listen to a pitch from Toor — an app which works with a smart lockbox for use in the real estate business. On May 11 of last year, he tweeted: “Still not sure why Twitter lets Facebook get cross posts. Cutting them off would starve Fb of.
