Editor’s Note: The following interview took place before HBO confirmed “The Other Two” would end with Season 3 and The Hollywood Reporter revealed that showrunners Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider were the subject of an Hr investigation.
“The Other Two” may have definitively ended at HBO Max, but the series’ star-studded celebrity roster unique and untouchable. Season 3 included appearances from Simu Liu, Fin Argus, Ann Dowd, Edie Falco, Ben Platt, Dylan O’Brien, Lukas Gage, Kiernan Shipka, Lawrence O’Donnell, Spike Einbinder, Andrea Boehlke, and Dana Delany — some as themselves, others as hyperspecific characters.
In their three seasons with the show, casting directors Allison Estrin and Henry Russell found the right balance in casting the very meta, very weird, but beloved cult series created by Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. “The Other Two” is coming to a close after three seasons amid reports of a toxic workplace.
The beloved and critically acclaimed series will conclude with its current third season, making the June 29 episode the series finale. “The Other Two” was created by former “SNL” writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, who shared a press statement clarifying the decision to end after Season 3 was not due to being canceled.
However, The Hollywood Reporter credited sources saying there were “multiple staff complaints” about showrunners Kelly and Schneider over the course of the production. Per the THR report, the Hr complaints stemmed from behavior on set and in the writers’ room, including allegations that Kelly “verbally abused writers and overworked crew and claims that Schneider enabled his behavior.”
A source tells IndieWire that the report was unfounded and not connected to the series ending. Max representatives did not provide comment to THR.

The Other Two, the comedy series starring Heléne Yorke, Drew Tarver and Molly Shannon, is coming to a close with its third season on Max.
However, rather than being canceled, the decision was made by Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, co-creators of the buzzy comedy, who said that they have run out of ways to “humiliate” Tarver.
“It is bittersweet to say goodbye to the Dubek family after three seasons, but we always knew, both creatively and personally, that this was where we wanted to end their stories,” the pair said. “And because we are quite literally out of ways to humiliate Drew Tarver, so what’s the point?”
The move comes ahead of the third-season finale, which sees Shannon’s billionaire mogul mom Pat and her ex-lover/manager Streeter (Ken Marino) strategize how to broach difficult conversations with her kids, Cary (Tarver) and Brooke (Yorke). The episode airs Thursday,...

Forget about the Disgusting Brothers: Welcome back to the Despicable Twins of Max’s “The Other Two.”
The long-awaited Season 3 of the hit satirical series deepens its disdain for Hollywood, with siblings Brooke (Heléne Yorke) and Cary (Drew Tarver) grappling with finding meaning in their respective rising entertainment industry careers. Cary finally gets a bit of fame after his long-awaited breakout role in indie drama “Night Nurse” airs, while Brooke keeps cornering her marketing gig. Of course, both Cary and Brooke are still in the shadow of their Justin Bieber-esque pop star younger brother ChaseDreams (Case Walker) and TV mogul mother (Molly Shannon).
Per the official Season 3 synopsis, after comparing themselves for years to their much-younger pop star brother, ChaseDreams (Walker), who is now a full adult, and their talk show host mother (Shannon), who’s now more powerful than she could have ever imagined, Brooke and Cary (Yorke...

Brooke and Cary are back as television’s funniest forgotten siblings in Season 3 of “The Other Two,” returning to HBO Max with two new episodes on May 4.
Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke, Molly Shannon, Ken Marino and Case Walker star in the 10-episode season alongside recurring cast Josh Segarra, Wanda Sykes and Brandon Scott Jones.
The Season 3 logline, per HBO Max, reads: “After comparing themselves for years to their much-younger pop star brother, ChaseDreams (Walker), who is now a full adult, and their talk show host mother (Shannon), who’s now more powerful than she could have ever imagined, Brooke and Cary (Yorke and Tarver) are finally standing on their own two feet — fully ‘successful’ in their own right! And yet, they somehow find themselves comparing themselves to new people once again???”

Survivor fans always want to know behind-the-scenes secrets from the CBS reality competition series, including how the show is made and how the contestants survive with limited resources on an abandoned beach. And one main question that frequently arises concerns what the Survivor castaways do when they get their period.
Kelley Wentworth and Abi-Maria Gomes | Photo by CBS via Getty Images ‘Survivor’ cast members have limited resources
Survivor premiered on CBS in 2000, and it was an immediate hit. Viewers everywhere were fascinated by the show’s concept, which revolved around stranding a group of strangers on an island and forcing them to create their own society. They have very few resources, so they must build their shelter and find and hunt for food.
The castaways also don’t have access to a shower or toilet. So they don’t have the same privacy in Survivor as they do at home.

Cirie Fields has continued her reality TV career. But would she return to where she started for the fifth time? She talked to Showbiz Cheat Sheet on Jan. 27 over Zoom about working with a fellow Survivor alum on The Traitors and answered if she’d play in this new era.
Cirie Fields reveals why she was able to trick Stephenie Lagrossa Kendrick on ‘The Traitors’
Q: You were able to immediately read Stephenie [Lagrossa Kendrick] on Snake in the Grass from your time together on Survivor. Why do you think she couldn’t read you the same way?
Cirie: Because I’m a great actress [laughs]. No, honestly, that’s part of it. And I don’t know, I think because I’m a great actress. Because Stephenie and I spent a whole month together at the Pearl. There’s a really nice hotel resort in Fiji after we were voted off for Heroes versus Villains.

Andrea Boehlke has a face you know. She’s got a face you recognize because she’s been on television for years. She’s a host, she’s a reality star, and she’s someone who is around more often than not. She’s been on “Survivor,” she’s on People.com’s People Now series, and she’s also on the CBS local sports network. She’s everywhere, she does it all, and she’s pretty good at it. “Survivor” superfans are currently hyped for the upcoming all-winners season, but it’s not always the case that the most popular contestant of the season is the one who wins. In fact, the audience tends to fall in love with those who just come up short of the $1 million prize, often more so than the champion. Players like Rupert Boneham, Cirie Fields and Joe Anglim will probably never win “Survivor,” no matter how many times they come back and try. Their likability is a double-edged sword — they’re genial enough to be safe through several Tribal Councils but once it gets toward the end, they’re too big of a jury threat to win. As we prepare for “Survivor: Winners at War,” here’s the ranking of our 16 favorite lovable losers we hoped would make it onto an all-winner season someday.

Like most long-running reality TV shows, twist and turns in the format regularly happen. On “Survivor,” which has been on CBS since 2000, the behind-the-scene masterminds often like to isolate players away from the other castaways and test their mettle. They have used the concept of “island” twists four times. The current 38th season introduces probably the most stressful option yet — “Extinction Island.” The show is intentionally hiding what is expected of players who land there. But that got us thinking about how, at least so far, you think it compares to the other “Survivor’s” other three islands — Exile, Redemption and Ghost. Below, refresh your memories about what each island involved and then vote in our poll for your favorite.

Hundreds of women have played the game of “Survivor,” but who are the most drop-dead gorgeous of all time? We’ve narrowed down the list to the Top 20 sexiest females ever, so click through our photo gallery above to see our complete rankings, worst to best. As always, be sure to sound off down in the comments section to let us know whether you agree or disagree with our picks.
20. Jenn Brown (Worlds Apart) — Jenn is almost like too cool to actually make our list, but her laissez faire attitude to playing the game is what makes her so attractive in the first place.
19. Amber Brkich — Amber was the All-Stars champion that no one saw coming because of her stealthy play and ability to wrap one of the game’s most notorious men around her finger. Though not exactly a black widow, her cunning and competitive nature increase her allure.

Let us know your thoughts on Ghost Island by voting down in our poll.

Early January is always filled with a barrage of weight-loss and healthy-living resolutions. But completely reinventing one’s lifestyle for the New Year can be tough.
Luckily, People Now is here to help — with hosts Jeremy Parsons and Andrea Boehlke putting together 5 shockingly easy tips getting and staying healthy in 2018.
Check them out below:
1. Try using smaller plates. Studies show that using smaller plates reduces the amount of food one puts on a plate. This, in turn, reduces the amount of food consumed in one sitting and leads to eating fewer calories. Eating slowly will also help eaters feel less hungry and fuller for longer.

With the 69th annual Emmy Awards around the corner, here’s a brief rundown of the show’s glamorous history.
The first Emmy Awards ceremony was held January 25, 1949 at the Hollywood Athletic Club in Los Angeles, and tickets cost only $5 — yes, five $1 bills. What a world to live in!
Louis McManus created the award we know today — a woman with wings holding an atom. Statuettes cost $400 and take five and a half hours to make. Each golden lady is molded and then coated in copper, nickel, silver and gold.
And the shocking part? Certain winners have to pay to keep the award!
