In the first round of the agency’s Production Incentive for this year, contributions were earmarked for 11 fiction films, two documentaries and two high-end TV series. The Netherlands Film Fund, the country’s film agency, has announced the recipients of its Production Incentive. On this occasion, the body has earmarked €6.8 million for 15 new audiovisual productions. These contributions are predicted to generate over €24 million in production expenses across the entire Dutch film sector. The grants of the biggest magnitude (€1.5 million each) were awarded to two productions: Todor Chapkanov’s crime-drama Black Lotus (produced by Us outfit Capstone Group LLC in co-operation with Tom de Mol Productions) and Diederik van Rooijen’s 8x50 drama series The Heir (staged by Column Projects).
