Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have signed on to executive produce “A House Is Not a Disco,” an upcoming documentary about a year in the life of Fire Island Pines. The project is from Brian J. Smith, the star of “Sense8,” who is making it his directing debut.
Harris is an Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor and singer whose credits include “How I Met Your Mother,” “It’s a Sin” and “Gone Girl.” Burtka is an actor and chef who has appeared on “The West Wing,” “Crossing Jordan” and on Broadway in “Gypsy” and “It Shoulda Been You.” In a statement, Smith thanked the celebrity power couple for their involvement.
