Company working on documentary Hostage To The Devil.
Spygirl Pictures, a New York-based genre film and television company, is partnering with Belfast-based Causeway Pictures to launch Causeway NY, the Us arm of the genre-focussed production company.
Causeway NY’s first project will be working on the Us elements of Hostage To The Devil, a feature documentary about New York-based exorcist Father Malachi Martin, directed by Irish director Marty Stalker. Northern Ireland Screen supported the film’s development. The film is currently in production with Us shooting scheduled to begin in May 2014.
Umbrella Entertainment will distribute Hostage To The Devil in Australia and New Zealand.
