Jimmy Kimmel and Roy Moore got into a war of words on Twitter Thursday afternoon, one day after the late-night host sent a comedian from his show to heckle the embattled Alabama Senate candidate at a church appearance.
Moore fired the first shot on Twitter, tweeting at Kimmel: “If you want to mock our Christian values, come down here to Alabama and do it man to man.”
Moore, who is accused of molesting teenage girls, linked to an article from the far-right news website Breitbart in which his senior adviser Drew Messer made similar comments as he accused Kimmel of...

What's the best way to meet your favorite actress? Write a song and name it after them!
Sza released the music video for her latest single, "Drew Barrymore," on Tuesday, which features a very special appearance by none other than the 42-year-old actress.

Directed by Dave Meyers, Sza's video shows her in various locations around New York City, including a pizza shop, a laundromat, and a house party. Barrymore's simple -- yet memorable -- cameo arrives around the 2:15 mark, as the singer is sitting outside alone on some steps.

The third Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 trailer is out with new footage for us all to drool over until the film hits the big screen on May 5th, and it is awesome! This one gives us our best look at Kurt Russell, at least in his human form, playing Ego, the living planet. Check it out!
Great stuff!
Guardians of the Galaxy was a surprise hit for Marvel, and it became one of their highest grossing movies they ever made, and easily vaulted Chris Pratt, as Star-Lord, into one of the McU's top stars. It brought Dave Bautista into the household as a common industry name, it did wonders for Zoe Saldana, and elevated Michael Rooker to an even higher level after he gave us Merle Dixon from The Walking Dead. The movie was near perfect, and I have huge bias here simply because it is one of my all time favorite films.

Reports that underinflated footballs were used in the first half of the Afc Championship Game have cast a shadow on the upcoming Super Bowl Xlix -- but provided lots of material for late-night hosts.
Despite New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick both denying on Thursday having anything to do with ball tampering, "Deflate Gate" is still trending. The press conference itself had quotes primed for jokes. "It's not like I squeeze the football," Brady said. "I grip the football."

Here are the best jokes to come out of the late shows surrounding the NFL ball deflation scandal.
Conan: "This is not the first time the Patriots have been accused of cheating," Conan O'Brien begins. "For example, there was the time they widened their own goal posts. ...There's the time they put magnets in the opposing team's helmets. ...There's the time they made opposing teams pay tolls...

The Patriots quarterback’s constant “balls” references made Twitter go nuts
Broadcasts were interrupted and oceans parted as Tom Brady addressed the media over allegations that the New England Patriots used tainted footballs in Sunday’s Afc Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.
In fact, all three major cable news networks broke away to carry the press conference.

“I’ve always wanted to do a home improvement show,” says Adam Carolla, while driving to a racetrack in Northern California. He got his wish with Spike TV’s Catch a Contractor, where Carolla, a licensed contractor named Skip Bedell and his detective wife lure deadbeat contractors to a house and confront them; the accused can either finish the job or endure a legal battle. “It sounded wildly uncomfortable to me because a lot of these guys are volatile and scary – and I just thought it'd definitely be the kind...

Tonight there is the premiere of a new sketch comedy show, a genre I didn't realize was something people still did on the basis that those kind of shows keep failing except for "Saturday Night Live" which seems to be kept around just so people can talk about how awesome it used to be and how much it sucks now, a tradition that I'm pretty sure dates back to the second season of the show. This new show, "In the Flow with Affion Crockett" loses points immediately because that's a dumb name and things only go downhill from there as you find out that the titular Crockett got his start on "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out." I'm slightly bewildered as to how a bit player on an MTV series now has his own show on Fox but I guess that's why I'm not a TV executive. Here's your Sunday night TV:

This Sunday offers a nice variety of shows that absolutely no one was asking for. We have the premiere of "Hillbilly Handfishin'" which is actually about the technique of catching catfish that I always thought was called "noodling" but I guess that might be a somewhat confusing title. Also, where I hail from "hillbilly" is considered a pejorative term. Maybe Animal Planet is trying to turn that around. Also tonight we have a "Behind the Music" on Adam Lambert, a young man whose entire career has taken place in view of a television camera, that show where people air their relationship's dirty laundry on TV, that show with 'addiction' in the title that isn't really about actual addictions, and several other shows that seem to exist only to piss me and other people capable of thought off. I'm just a basket full of goddamn rainbows tonight. Here's your Sunday night...

I started writing this column on Saturday and I forgot to change the day on the site I use for TV listings so I was all "Man, there is Nothing" on TV tonight. That sucks" and then I remembered to change the day which is good because I felt like something big was happening today. And I was totally right. Ladies, gentlemen, and commenters, I would like to welcome you all to the most glorious week of the summer. The week which makes all other weeks look silly and inconsequential. The week which makes all the days and weeks of crappy TV seem less significant. I am speaking, of course, of Shark Week!! Seven wonderful days of shows alternating between showing us the raw power of an animal that nature had designed for the sole purpose of killing other animals over the last several hundred thousand years, and shows telling...

This weekend has been marked by an astounding amount of bad news. There are many things I could say here, but mostly I just want to say that my heart goes out to the people of Norway, China, and those who loved Ms.Winehouse either personally or from afar. Russell Brand has an incredibly lovely tribute and heart wrenching discussion of the nature of addiction dedicated to the late singer. I've been following BBC News the last couple days for developments in the bombing and shooting in Norway, as well as updates on the Chinese train accident. Oh, and I'd like to ask for civility and courtesy in the comments if you're going to discuss any of the above events. Thank you. There is, as always, some television on tonight if you're interested. I understand if you're not, but regardless, here's your Sunday night TV:

"Breaking Bad" returns tonight which is excellent news for many readers. I don't watch it at the moment because I really only have the stomach for one drama I'm far too emotionally invested in at a time and the one I had been watching just ended so it's on the shortlist of contenders I will attempt to get into next. I'm pretty sure I watched the first episode or two forever ago and then didn't anymore for reasons I can't remember. But I remember that Bryan Cranston's character was supposed to be dying so I guess he got over that? Spoiler alert? Really, though, I'm happy for all of you and hope you have a big evening planned (what's the theme snack for a show about meth? Doesn't it kill your appetite?) or the DVR set and your Facebook switched off until you watch the episode. For anyone who...

There is just a whole mess of reality shows on tonight, including the premiere of another bakery focused reality show set in the Jersey Shore which has to be some kind of Mad-Libs approach to green lighting new reality series. Even the name ("Tough Cookies") sounds like something a comedian came up with while doing a bit about how stupid reality TV has gotten to be in recent days. I'm betting the only reason something about housewives weren't worked in there is because if someone is working in a bakery they're obviously not a housewife. Anyway, that rounds tonight's reality show gauntlet to three set in Jersey, three that have to do with cooking and another four that are shows about famous people being totally famous. There is some overlap but there are also some I didn't touch on. Here's your Sunday night TV:

We've returned to a Sunday night that is just chock full of television but most of it is utter and complete tripe. I was going to say "that might be an insult to tripe" but I personally am not a fan of tripe even though I understand that other people are and while I respect that there's really nothing they can say to convince me to follow suit so, actually that's a pretty accurate comparison for how I feel about most of the shows on tonight. If you're a fan of "Bridezillas" or "Celebrity Rehab" we can still be friends but there are some very specific limits to that friendship. And it's not even because I think the shows are 'low-class' or some other kind of bullshit value judgement, it's because I find the appeal of both shows bewildering. Hey! Let's watch some people throw tantrums over satin finish invites vs.
