The 51-year-old actress revealed on a recent episode of The Real that she and husband Reggie Youngblood have taken "a pause" on their surrogacy plans and, instead, she has "offered" him an opportunity to "go find someone to have a child with." “The Real World Homecoming: Los Angeles” is set for a Nov. 24 premiere on Paramount Plus, with seven of the original cast members from “The Real World: Los Angeles” reuniting in the same Venice Beach house they shared during their 1993 season.
The docuseries will feature Beth Anthony, Beth Stolarczyk, David Edwards, Glen Naessens, Irene Berrera-Kearns, Jon Brennan and Tami Roman, who reconnect almost two decades after last appearing on-screen together. Like the previous “Real World Homecoming” season (“New York”), they will reflect on how the series transformed their lives and potentially squash old conflicts.
The Los Angeles season of “The Real World” premiered on MTV in summer 1993, originally under the name “The Real World: California,” and was a thematic departure from the show’s “New York” season, which launched the franchise in 1992. It also featured the series’ first — but not its last — ouster of a castmate, when Edwards, a stand-up comedian,...

Searching for meaning in retirement, Kenny Anderson, an NBA All-Star in 1994, finds himself at a crossroads: he’s a charming man who gets exactly everything he wants in his life, only to screw it up. He’s got a great family, nice homes, opportunities for success, and yet still enjoys partying at age 45. It gets him in trouble far beyond an international incident that could spark its own documentary. It’s an episode Kenny would rather not remember and, as the subject of the film, it’s quickly brushed aside by director Jill Campbell.
Mr. Chibbs is a minor biographical documentary, following Anderson’s efforts to transform his life against a few odds. Early in the film, it’s reported he looses his gig coaching at a local high school after a DUI. He’s still well-liked, even if externally the school’s principal chooses to distance themselves from him,...

Tami Roman was in an apologetic mood on "The Wendy Williams Show" Tuesday. The star of VH1's "Basketball Wives" admitted that she's acted like "a pure fool” in her feud with co-star Kesha Nichols.
Roman, the ex-wife of NBA star Kenny Anderson, told Williams, “I got up there and was acting a pure fool and I am openly admitting that. I have since apologized to Kesha.”
It's a different tune than Roman was singing to her friend and fellow cast member Royce Reed on Sunday night’s “Basketball Wives” season finale. Reed was trying to convince her pal to let go of the drama, but Roman was not having it. In fact, the idea of Reed taking Nichols side seemed to upset Roman even more. At the end of the scene, Roman told Reed, “I will tell you this. If she turns my friend against me, she’s really...

While their husbands fight it out on the basketball court, VH1's "Basketball Wives" know how to play dirty off court. No one understands that better than Tami Roman, star of the hit reality show.
"I have been known to pop a bitch or two, but I'm in total control of my anger management issues now," Tami tells me on the set of my HDNet talk show, "Naughty But Nice."
"You've got a lot of great things, lots of great material things, great lifestyle when you are a basketball wife," she says. "The relationship is where it lacks. I was that wife that had her blinders on. ... It wasn't until it just got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore."
Noting her surprise that Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, are reportedly getting back together, Tami says she wouldn’t have taken him back, but admits you can't tell anyone whom to love.

The past three seasons of Miami-filmed "Basketball Wives" have been filled with physical drama. NBA players' former lovers, ex-wives, baby mamas, and fiancés -- rarely any actual wives -- have repeatedly come to blows on the Vh1 reality series. It's why audiences keep tuning in -- over 4 million viewers watched the season three reunion.
In one episode, Evelyn Lozada (current fiancé of Chad Ochocinco and former fiancé of Antonie Walker) and Royce Reed (baby mama of Dwight Howard) threw cocktails in each other's faces. In another, Tami Roman (ex-wife of Kenny Anderson) popped Meeka Claxton (wife of Speedy) in the face.
Season four of "Basketball Wives", which premieres February 2012, is likely to have even more violence and drama. One of two new cast members is Kenya Bell, a former Miss Michigan who was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Last May, she reportedly stabbed her then-husband Charlie Bell...

If you've watched previews of the second season of "Basketball Wives," you're already familiar with Tami Roman. The former wife of retired baller Kenny Anderson, steps into the "Bw" scene to stir things up. On the show, Tami is very honest about repairing her almost non-existent relationship with Anderson -- with whom she has two daughters -- and her time of hardship post-divorce. When the "Real World" alum stopped by Essence.com last week, she opened up about how she went from the life of luxury to being on food stamps, and how she feels about the other cast members. Here's what you had to say: Laurean commented via Facebook: "Tami is going to be an interesting addition." Nadine wrote via Facebook: "I'm very happy that she was able to acknowledge her mistake in all of this."...
