The trailer of season 4 of The Boys saw many surprises, including a return from Black Noir. The iconic character was killed at the end of season 3 by the Homelander for not telling him about his father. However, the new season sees the silent, masked hero returning to fight Billy the Butcher and the gang in an action-packed scene.
The trailer sees a hand-to-hand combat between Butcher and Black Noir at an office. While fans were excited to see Black Noir returning, they were greeted with an appearance from Gen V’s Asa Germann, who plays Sam Riordan. This sparked a fan theory that Riordan would don the Black Noir suit in the upcoming season.

Prime’s The Boys has gained immense love and appeal from its fans, as it has shown a refreshing take on superheroes, which goes beyond themes like nobility and selflessness. The series showcases a darker side of heroism and how individuals would act if they had superpowers. With relevant themes and equally dark humor, the show is definitely a fan favorite.

In the world of Prime Video’s The Boys, superheroes – or supes as they’re not-so-affectionately called – are a part of normal, everyday life. But these supes aren’t naturally born, they’re created by Vought Industry’s Compound V serum. Even though Vought does their best to control who does and does not become a supe, they don’t have control over how abilities manifest in people who take Compound V.
This leads to a wide variety of powers among the supes on the show, including those in the prestigious superhero group known as The Seven. With so many superpowered characters appearing in both large and small roles throughout the series, it can be hard to keep track of what exactly everyone can do. Here is a handy guide breaking down the powers of The Seven,...

Happy early Halloween! The R-rated misadventures of Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and his ragtag group up meta-human hunters are coming home to crash on your couch this October. The explosive third season of "The Boys" has set a home media release, with plans to arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on October 24. Continuing their ongoing battle with Homelander -- the leader of The Seven -- and the evil corporate minions of Vought International, the third season of "The Boys" hit the ground running. The series went to new heights in season 3 with some of the most shocking episodes ever shown on television. Who can forget the "Herogasm" episode? I certainly can't.
The third season of "The Boys" may be its best yet, largely due to the incredible chemistry of the entire cast, as evidenced by a peek at the behind-the-scenes gag reel (watch below) that will also be featured on the new physical release.

Unfortunately, "The Boys" aren't going to be back in town anytime soon thanks to the ongoing strikes by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA and their ongoing fight to urge studios to give artists a fair deal. Season 4 of the R-rated superhero sendup has been pushed back from an expected release in early 2024 and, as of now, has no official release date. Over the course of three outlandish seasons, fans of the hit Prime Video series and Garth Ennis' original graphic novel can't help but notice how much the show tends to deviate from some of the major plot lines of the comic book.
For the most part, it's been a welcome curveball that keeps the series feeling fresh and unpredictable, allowing for even more of the jaw-dropping moments that have helped define the show as one of the most biting satires of the superhero genre. Adapting some of the more outlandish...

The Boys is expected to have many of its core characters return for the series’ fourth season. But how many newcomers will the series add to its roster of Supes and bad guys?
The new Supes joining ‘The Boys’ cast Antony Star, Karl Urban, and Cameron Crovetti in ‘The Boys’ | Amazon Prime
Much of The Boys season 4 is still being kept under wraps. But a few details have come out about the series’ next chapter that have only intensified the hype. According to Variety, it was announced last year that Valorie Curry and Susan Hayward would be added to the cast. The two will be playing Supes Firecracker and Sister Sage respectfully, and according to the showrunner, they’ll fit right in with The Boys’ chaotic universe.
“These new Supes are some of the best & craziest ever written for The Boys,” showrunner Eric Kripke once said according to Games Radar.

But if we know anything about the corporation behind the Seven, it's that they always like to downplay the damage the team has gone through over the years. When Translucent died back in early season 1, Vought kept it hidden from the public for months. And when Supersonic was murdered by Homelander in season 3, they passed it off as an overdose. Even though “The Boys” Season 3 streamed almost a year ago in June-July of 2022, this is my friendly reminder to TV academy members that it’s eligible for the upcoming 2023 Emmy Awards. “The Boys” is a classic example of a television show that continues to build momentum year after year, and it shouldn’t be discounted when marking your ballots in the coming months. After all, the third season was better than ever with new characters, deathly twists and naughty orgies.
The first season of the Amazon Prime Video comic book adaptation only nabbed a single Emmy nomination in 2020 for sound editing. But the show rebounded in 2021 with five bids for Season 2: drama series, writing (Rebecca Sonnenshine for “What I Know”), music & lyrics (Christopher Lennertz and Michael Saltzman for “Never Truly Vanish”), sound mixing and visual effects. After taking off the 2022 Emmy cycle, will “The Boys” be back in town...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Boys Season 3, Episodes 7 & 8, “Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed” & “The Instant White-Hot Wild.”] The Boys is without a doubt one of TV’s wackiest shows, but it can also deliver one of its most poignant with dark trauma-filled storylines like in Season 3’s revealing entry, “Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed.” Directed by Sarah Boyd, the entry sees Boys’ vigilante leader Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) trapped in one of Mindstorm’s (Ryan Blakely) haunting visions. Experiencing his past in flashes, Butcher is haunted by memories of his younger brother Lenny (Jack Fulton). Forced to reckon with the mistakes he’s made, the unending fog allows viewers further insight into the violent opposer of Supes, just as the Black Noir’s (Nathan Mitchell) history is shared through the lens of cartoon characters making for an unconventional, yet moving story. ...

Netflix has a major hit on its hand with Ginny & Georgia. The series centers on a young mother/daughter duo Georgia (Brianne Howey) and Ginny (Antonia Gentry), who are trying to fit into their new community while coming to find a place in their new community.
While the pair had a decent relationship in season 1, the series’ second season showcased them at odds with one another. This is why Georgia had so much trouble seeing things from her daughter’s perspective.

Season 2 of “Ginny & Georgia” is back and better than ever with a bevy of pop culture references and a killer soundtrack. Ginny’s love of literature, reading and writing was established in Season 1, and references to classic books and authors continue to thread through the show’s sophomore season.
As Ginny continues to unravel the layers of her mother Georgia’s (Brianne Howey) past, she still has to deal with an out-of-touch English professor who doesn’t exactly grasp the benefits of a diverse literary canon. Ginny’s bedroom is stocked full of classic and colorful book spines. Her dad Zion (Nathan Mitchell) also references a lot of literary figures.
Ginny’s English teacher Mr. Gitten (Johnathan Potts) challenges her to select a book to present for her AP English class; her selection should, in his words, be “anything that encompasses the Black experience in America.” The three options...

Brianne Howey, who portrays Georgia in Netflix’s show “Ginny & Georgia,” can relate to both haves of the titular duo — particularly to Georgia’s daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry) with the family structure that Georgia has created as matriarch of their family.
“I have four younger siblings who I would die for. I’m the oldest of five. It’s obviously not exactly the same. My mom would always tell me you’ll never know how much I love you until you have a child of your own,” the actress told TheWrap. “Of course, there’s a level of that I won’t be able to relate to until I have a child of my own, but for now, Antonia feels like another sibling to me. And I have a really large age gap with my siblings. It’s everywhere from five years to 17 years.”

Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character in season 4 of The Boys is going to be awesome. That’s a pre-emptive statement, but it’s one that a lot of fans already agree with. Honestly, it’s hard to disagree with it unless one isn’t a fan of Morgan. Hey, it happens. But focusing on the fact that fans are already hyped for this, it feels as though his character is already going to please a lot of people. Nathan Mitchell, aka Black Noir, is already in agreement with this idea. With all that’s happened in The Boys at this point, it’s tough to think

This article contains spoilers for Ginny & Georgia season 2.
Netflix’s mother-daughter drama Ginny & Georgia was a pandemic era hit when its first season debuted back in February 2021. The show is about single mother Georgia Miller (Brienne Howey) who moves her teenage daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and son Austin (Diesel La Torraca) to Wellsbury after the death of her rich husband. While the show’s comparisons to Gilmore Girls certainly helped, it was really the dramedy’s Taylor Swift joke and “oppression Olympics” scenes that led to the show going viral … while also leaving it with a lot to improve upon for season two.
Ginny & Georgia season 2 picks up with Ginny and Austin living with Ginny’s father Zion (Nathan Mitchell) after discovering their mother murdered their stepdad. This season has sparked a lot of conversations around how the show has improved some of the major issues of...

Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers from Season 2 of “Ginny & Georgia,” now streaming on Netflix.
Netflix’s coming-of-age mother-daughter drama “Ginny & Georgia” dove in a bit deeper with Season 2. The series, which dropped on Jan. 5, picked up with Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and her little brother living with her dad, Zion (Nathan Mitchell) after leaving town at the end of Season 1 when she learns her mom (Brianne Howey) killed her stepdad.
Season 2, however, focused less on the many crimes of Georgia and more on the mental health challenges that so many high-school kids are going through.
“Everyone’s fighting a battle you can’t see,” showrunner Debra J. Fisher says. “It’s really hard to human overall, which I think really translates into a lot of our arcs this season.”

The second season of Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia starring Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey will premiere on January 5, 2023. Series creator/executive producer Sarah Lampert told Netflix’s Tudum that fans can expect the new season to pick up just a few weeks after season one left off.
“We spent all of season one breaking these characters down and putting them in certain places,” explained Lampert. “So, we wanted to honor that by picking up season two just two weeks later. We jumped right back into where we emotionally left everyone at the end of season one.”
The premiere date announcement was accompanied by a batch of photos from the 10-episode second season.

“The Boys” is undeniably captivating — the Prime Video adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s satirical superhero comic can be filthy, violent, irreverent and hilarious all at once. But the ongoing conflict between the show’s titular vigilantes and the “Supes” backed by malevolent conglomerate Vought International also keeps viewers transfixed with a layered narrative grounded in a relatable reality. It’s enough to make you forget that these flawed characters are wearing capes — even in the midst of all the kickass superhero action.
The challenge of “The Boys” is in creating an elaborate world that infuses its shock and awe with swirling drama and honest character motivation. In the videos below, visual effects supervisor Stephan Fleet, stunt coordinator John Koyama, and costume designers Laura Jean Shannon and Michael Ground describe how a world with endless possibilities is better off when its dildo brawls, hallucinated pizza parlor mascots, and...

If you're not caught up on "The Boys" season 3 yet, be forewarned: there are spoilers here for the fate of Black Noir.
As a character who is mute and has brain damage, Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) hasn't always read like an open book to viewers of "The Boys." It wasn't until season 3 that the audience really started to get to know him in a meaningful way, as we learned some of his back story with Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) during the Korean War, and saw the world from his perspective, complete with hallucinated cartoon animals. This being "The Boys," Black Noir was not long for this world after that.
After returning to the headquarters of Vought International in season 3, Black Noir came face to face with Homelander (Antony Starr) again, hoping to team up with him against Soldier Boy. Unfortunately for him, Homelander felt rather betrayed, since Black Noir knew...

Erin Moriarty has no time for sexist “Boys.”
“The Boys” breakout actress, who plays Starlight on the hit Prime Video superhero series, revealed that some viewers seem to miss the satire of the series, which is rooted in misogyny and abuse.
“I do feel silenced. I do feel dehumanized. I do feel paralyzed,” Moriarty wrote on Instagram while reposting a Medium article written by a “Boys” enthusiast with the username Butcherscanary. The piece, titled “#IStandWithStarlight?: The Betrayal of Erin Moriarty by The Boys ‘fans,'” cited the comments sections on Moriarty’s social media pages for perpetuating toxic masculinity.
Moriarty confirmed that she has received backlash to her appearance on the series, with Butcherscanary writing that Moriarty and other “The Boys” actresses like Aya Cash and Karen Fukuhara have endured “unsolicited commentary” on their attractiveness.
“I’ve put blood, sweat, and tears into this role (over & over & over again),” Moriarty continued.

Erin Moriarty is opening up about the trolling she's received from fans of her TV show "The Boys." Moriarty stars as Annie January, aka Starlight, in the series. On Sept. 6, Moriarty shared an article on Instagram titled "#IStandWithStarlight?: The betrayal of Erin Moriarty by The Boys 'fans.'" The article's author claimed that Moriarty's Instagram comments sections had been overrun by comments containing "overwhelming malice and misogyny." The author said most of the criticism was directed at Moriarty's body, adding, "The obsession with her looks and the extent of objectification is unmatched."
Moriarty wrote in the caption of her post, "I do feel silenced. I do feel dehumanized. I do feel paralyzed. I've put blood, sweat, and tears into this role (over & over & over again). I've grown Up in this character's shoes (*emphasis on grown up – we change & evolve mentally And physically)."

It’s an episode of “The Boys” pulled directly out of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book series that the show is based on, and was adapted in as much X-rated glory as Kripke and the team felt they could conceivably put Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mm (Laz Alonso), Annie/Starlight (Erin Moriarty), The Deep (Chace Crawford), Homelander (Antony Starr), Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles...

Emmy nominee Paul Reiser has officially joined the cast of Amazon’s The Boys as a guest star in the fan-favorite role of The Legend, following rumors of his participation in the series that went unconfirmed. Reiser will make his series debut in this week’s episode titled “The Last Time To Look On This World Of Lies” which drops on Friday.
The 8-episode season is set to conclude on July 8. Amazon renewed the series for a fourth season last week.
The Boys gives insight into what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, The Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought—the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets.

One week after exploding genitalia in its Season 3 premiere and increasing viewership by 17 from Season 2’s debut, “The Boys” has been renewed for a fourth season at Amazon.
While “The Boys” star Karl Urban previously spilled the fourth-season beans when he said at Variety‘s SXSW Studio on March 12 that he was “shooting ‘The Boys’ through the end of the year,” well after production had already wrapped on Season 3, Friday’s renewal marks the official Season 4 pickup from Amazon.
Of course, giving “The Boys” a fourth season was always a no-brainer for Amazon, as the Eric Kripke-created show is at the center of the streamer’s first multi-series franchise, which now includes animated anthology spinoff “The Boys Presents: Diabolical” and the currently in-production untitled spinoff, which is set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes.
Per Amazon, “Over the first three days of its third season, the...

A week after the Season 3 premiere of The Boys, Prime Video has ordered a fourth season of Emmy-nominated superhero series, from Sony Pictures TV and Amazon Studios.
Eric Kripke’s adaptation of the bestselling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson was a breakout hit when it launched in 2019. However, like most of its counterparts, Prime Video does not release ratings information for its shows. While that is still the case, Amazon has shared data on the growth in viewers for the first three episodes of each season over their first three days of release.
Cancellations/Renewals Scorecard: TV Shows Ended Or Continuing In 2021-22 Season

The Boys are back, but gone are the days when we would be able to binge a whole season of the show in one sitting! Amazon Prime Video is sticking to the same release format it used in Season 2 of its most irreverent series for the brand-new Season 3, and that means that from now on we will have to feast on each episode weekly.
Prime Video released the first three episodes of The Boys Season 3 on June 3, and there was certainly a lot to unpack. The first episode alone delivered sights never before seen on TV, including the “natural” evolution of Avengers: Endgame’s iconic Ant-Man meme, and a Charlize Theron cameo that happened to be a complete coincidence after her recent MCU debut. Then, there was a broken arm heard around the world, Butcher on a violent mission fuelled by a temporary dose of Compound V,...
