This article contains spoilers for Adult Swim’s Yule Log.
If it’s taken you eight years to get the Two Many Cooks theme song out of your head, I’m here to break that track record! In 2014, Casper Kelly (Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell) released the now viral 11-minute video, sending the internet ablaze with fervent fan reactions. If you somehow managed to escape its catchy grasp, Adult Swim’s Too Many Cooks is an experimental short film, blending sitcom parody, surrealism, sci-fi, soap opera, and police procedural commentary with a madcap serial killer deconstructing all its branching storylines.
If that sounds weird, it’s because it is. But that’s what Adult Swim does best – delivering irreverent comedy that gifts us odd delight and daring discomfort.
Now Kelly has taken the reins on a new project for Adult Swim – a Yule Log film – that will equally inspire questions,...

In a world where there are a lot of indie filmmakers doing it wrong, it's refreshing when it's done right.
Now, I'm not talking about film quality or tired stories etc. I'm talking about old fashioned "We actually give a shit about our fans and want them to know." It's about the little things.
Running a horror website for over seven years in the red with no steady income stream generated by the site can get quite discouraging. What makes it worse is when filmmakers and producers feel they are gracing you with their film and doing you a favor by "letting you" watch their movie's, forgetting that the professional rout is to offer a screener for review consideration.
Here at MoreHorror we try to get to as many screeners as we can, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Sometimes, there's no real incentive, just a sense of expectation,...

In one of the more bizarre pieces of film news I've seen lately, there's word of a Kickstarter floating around that aims to take on a mad scientist/necrophiliac true story --- by way of puppets. Award-winning filmmaker Ronni Thomas has enlisted Richard Stanley (yes, That Richard Stanley, of Dust Devil, Hardware, and the upcoming Lovecraft adaptation of Colour Out Of Space) to narrate. But the talent doesn't end there. Puppeteer Robin Frohardt, FX kingpin Shane Morton and Silver Scream FX lab, composer Stephen Coates, occult expert Mitch Horowitz, and Oddities co-star Evan Michaelson are among the roster of cast and crew that have come together for this danse macabre. No Place For The Living will throw back the shroud on the life of "Count" Carl Von Cosel, who lived with the corpse of...

Check out a first "Frankenstein Created Bikers" poster which is both entertaining well-designed. The horror directed by James Bickert opens some time 2013, with a cast including Shane Morton, Paul McComiskey, Nik Morgan and John Collins. Never heard of this film, the helmer, or the cast before, and can you blame me? "Frankenstein Created Bikers" from Big World Pictures' is currently in pre-production phase and follows “Dear God No!” As far as "Dear God No!" goes, the film follows outlaw motorcycle gang The Impalers through a murder spree that ends in a home invasion gone terribly wrong when they attack two graduate students, a disgraced Anthropologist and his teenage daughter. A demonic creature in the woods, a deadly secret in the basement, rivers of blood and abundant nudity add to the surprises that are sure to thrill genre fans.
