"The X-Files," as it exists on television, has always been nothing short of art, in and of itself. But that doesn't mean some of today's finest modern artists don't have takes of their own that are equally inventive, enthralling and inspired. Creative production company iam8bit, co-owned and operated by Jon M. Gibson and Amanda White, has gathered such pieces together for "Conspiracies, Monsters and Mythology: An X-Files Art Show." A VIP preview is set for Thursday night — with veteran "X-FIles" writers Darin Morgan and Glen Morgan in attendance — before opening to the public through February 14. Located in Los Angeles, California, iam8bit Gallery's latest show features artwork from Olley Moss, Jc Richard, Mark Englert and Jophen Stein and will be on display from Friday, June 7th, through June 30th. The iam8bit gallery is co-curated by partners Jon M. Gibson and Amanda White. New exhibitions, special events and one-of-a-kind experiences are hosted at the 4,500 sq. ft. space on a regular basis.
