As The Voice completed its Season 24 Playoffs Tuesday evening, John Legend’s team members competed to remain in the contest after their coach cut his lineup in half. Did he make better selections than, say, Niall Horan (whose elimination of Alexa Wildish is sure to irritate me all the way through the finals) and Gwen Stefani (who kept Bias and Tanner Massey instead of Stee and Rudi)? Read on and find out!

Last week on “The Voice,” Team Niall Horan took the stage during the playoffs as all six contestants performed for a shot at making it into the live shows. In the end, three of his artists advanced to the next round: Huntley, Nini Iris and Mara Justine. That meant the other three singers — Claudia B., Julia Roome and Alexa Wildish — were all eliminated.
Gold Derby asked “The Voice” fans to vote in our poll for which of these three was most robbed, and the results are an absolute landslide for Alexa. In fact, a whopping 72% of responders voted for Alexa, compared to just 17% for Julia and 11% for Claudia. Do You agree or disagree with those poll results? Be sure to sound off down in the comments section.

The Voice fans were left stunned after Tuesday (November 21) night’s episode, which saw Niall Horan eliminate a seemingly surefire top contender from the competition on the first night of Playoffs. With the blind auditions, battle rounds, and three-way knockouts out of the way, the four coaches, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and Horan, narrowed their teams down to six (including a returning Super Save pick) ahead of the Playoffs, which kicked off on Tuesday with Team Niall battling it out for a shot in the live shows. Heading into Tuesday’s episode, Team Niall consisted of four singers who received four-chair turns during the blind auditions: Huntley, Nini Iris, Alexa Wildish, and Mara Justine (whom he stole from Legend in the knockouts). In addition, the One Direction alum had Claudia B, who he stole from Legend in the battles, plus teenager Julia Roome, who he brought back with his Super Save.

Oh, Niall Horan. What were you thinking? As Season 24’s Playoffs got underway on The Voice Tuesday evening, the former One Direction heartthrob’s team competed for the chance to advance to the Top 12. And all six — including the Super Save artist that he was allowed to bring back after her elimination — did pretty damn terrifically. There was almost no wrong way that he could go… except one. He had among his contenders a singer who stood head and shoulders above the rest. That she should continue on wasn’t merely obvious, it was, like, mandatory. Yet he cut her...
