UFOs? In this economy? Netflix's reboot of Unsolved Mysteries is predominantly a true-crime endeavor, but the fifth episode ventures into the realm of science fiction. Or does it simply venture into fact? On Sept. 1, 1969, dozens of witnesses reported seeing an unidentified flying object in different parts of Berkshire County.
Unsolved Mysteries interviewed several eyewitnesses in the area at the time. Tom Warner was at a friend's house, where he was supposedly taken by a beam and then disappeared momentarily. Nearby, Melanie Kirchdorfer had just gotten ice cream with her family and went to Lake Mansfield, where she saw a bright light and started levitating. She recalled coming onto a ship with other children and was being laid out. Eerily, Warner said he had seen her in the craft crouching in a corner. They had not known each other before but felt an immediate connection when they finally met.
Other interviewees included Thom Reed,...

This Unsolved Mysteries review contains no spoilers.
Unsolved Mysteries Season 1
The Netflix rebooted series Unsolved Mysteries could really use someone like Robert Stack to lead audiences through these mysterious cold cases. He may not have been the biggest named crime-fighting icon, but he brought his Elliot Ness from the original The Untouchables to the scene. He also brought his trench coat. True crime shows are coming from all directions, and most of them follow a similar pattern which was laid out by Unsolved Mysteries. What set it apart were that voice and that trench coat.
Stack hosted the groundbreaking investigative series between 1987 and 2002. It was also hosted by Raymond Burr, Karl Malden, Virginia Madsen and Dennis Farina. No one quite brought the suspenseful gravitas Stack did. He added an element which the new series sorely needs: spookiness and gravelly innuendo. He knew how to make your fingers clutch the edge of the sofa in suspense.

There's a new Transformers animated series coming out for Cartoon Network called Transformers: Cyberverse, and it actually looks like it could be good! The designs for the series were inspired by the classic 80s cartoon series and the plot of the show kinda sounds like Christopher Nolan's Memento! Here is a description of the story which focuses on a new Bumblebee adventure:
Bumblebee is on a critical mission, but his memory chips are damaged and he has to recover details of his past experiences on Cybertron.Only by uncovering his actions on his mechanical homeworld can he figure out what his purpose is on Earth. Meanwhile, the Decepticons are also closing in on him.
When talking about the visual designs of the show, Tom Warner, Senior VP for the Transformers franchise at Hasbro had this to say:
"When we were designing the look and feel of Transformers: Cyberverse, we...
