What to do when faced with the inevitability of your own demise?
Find a loophole, of course! In The Librarians Season 3 Episode 4, Eve Baird discovered that she had a supernatural hit out on her and unsurprisingly did not sit around and wait for her impending doom.
Really, though, the moral of this story should be "Listen to Jenkins."
Seriously, though, you would think that the Librarians, knowing full well that Jenkins is a centuries-old immortal being, would pay more attention to him.
Of course, had they done that, there really wouldn't have been much of an episode, now would there?
What will happen to the swim team? After all, they did cheat on their tests, and Tyson admitted as much in front of the principal.
While they might not face direct consequences (presumably, the Librarians confiscated all the magic goggles), they will have problems if they use their inflated scores...

Apep, Egyptian god of chaos and evil, made a much more sinister return in The Librarians Season 3 Episode 2, accompanied by werewolves and a less-than-chatty fellow Egyptian deity, Anubis.
"And the Fangs of Death" featured darkness prominently, both visually and tonally, as Flynn and the other Librarians entered a Canadian supercollider facility in search of a missing Charlene, who had apparently been kidnapped by Apep.
First off, I want to bring attention to the title of the episode. At first glance, "And the Fangs of Death" just sounds like the sort of melodramatic ridiculous adventure cliche that The Librarians normally exploits. However, it's actually more than that, as Anubis is the Egyptian god of death, and his army here was composed of werewolves, so it's actually appropriate!
Apep, despite his defeat at the climax of this episode, managed to provide a much more compelling villainous turn here than in his first appearance.

TNT has greenlit 10 episodes for a series based on The Librarians franchise, slated to air in late 2014. The TV movies told the story of a group of extra special librarians who live beneath the Metropolitan Public Library in New York and safeguard mystical relics from forces of evil by slapping them with outrageous overdue fees. The plot is a messy stew of Indiana Jones, National Treasure, and Hell Boy …but the product is less than the sum of its parts.
Noah Wyle (Falling Skies, ER) will reprise his role as the big cheese librarian and will also executive produce. Rebecca Romijn will play Eve Baird,...
