What happens to the stars of The Bachelor after their time on the franchise ends? How much are they really worth? Let’s dive into the net worth of some of the most famous Bachelor Nation members.
Bachelor Alums With Lowest Net Worths
Not all of the Bachelor leads have been able to turn reality TV fame into money. Season 18 Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis has the lowest net worth of all 28 leads with a reported net worth of $85,000, as reported by Just Jared.
Not surprisingly, Bachelor leads you barely remember, Aaron Buerge Matt Grant and Andrew Baldwin (Season 10) have an average net worth of around $130,000.
Despite starring in his own reality show with his final rose winner, Ben Higgins net worth is reportedly only $100,000. Nick Viall, who recently competed on Special Forces has a reported net worth of $129,000.

It’s hard to believe that The Bachelor first premiered in 2002. Since then, the show has gone through many changes while still staying the same franchise that fans know and love. Here’s a look at what happened to the first three Bachelors, Alex Michel, Aaron Buerge, and Andrew Firestone.

The Bachelor first premiered on ABC in March 2002. Michel was cast as the first person to take on the leading role in the show.
Even though The Bachelor franchise centers around a proposal happening, Michel did not actually propose to anyone during his season. Instead, Michael chose to keep dating contestant Amanda Marsh after the show.
A little less than a year after the first season of The Bachelor aired, Michel and Marsh announced their breakup.

More than a year before The Bachelorette would go on to make its debut in 2003, Nicole Woods joined the team behind the long-running ABC reality dating franchise.

The very first episode of The Bachelor premiered on March 25, 2002. Back then, it seemed crazy that two people could fall in love with each other, much less get engaged, in a matter of weeks. And yet, Bachelor Nation continued coming for more, proving that we just can't get enough of the ABC show. If you feel like taking a trip down memory lane, and seeing Chris Harrison in all his glory, it might be time to binge-watch some old seasons.
From seasons one to 22, there have been a whole lot of memorable moments. Thanks to ABC's tribute video to the host with the most, we know that there have been 6,578 kisses, 2,924 roses, and 37 proposals. Unfortunately, Netflix and Hulu won't help you see every single one of them. Neither streaming service offers old seasons. Even ABC's website only gives you access to episodes from the current season. At this rate, it...

On March 25, 2002, ABC introduced to the world a show that took one man’s search for Ms. Right and, with the help of some alleged post-production trickery and the casting of some beyond wackadoo hopefuls, turned it into a reality-tv phenomenon which has since spawned multiple STDs spin-offs.
We’re of course talking about The Bachelor, which on this day marks its 15th anniversary.

Since inaugural suitor Alex Michel, the ABC franchise has helped 19 other eligible bachelors on their quest for “true love,” most recently bringing together Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi in the Season 21 finale.

Who better to find you your next date than "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison? The 41-year-old television personality has been hosting "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" for 11 years -- a gig that has taught him quite a bit about dating, falling in love, and people that aren't in it for "the right reasons."
Harrison is using his knowledge on love to launch a new dating app called At First Sight with "The Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss. The app, which HuffPost exclusively previewed and is available for download on iOS and Android, features video profiles, avenues for chatting, and connecting through social media. "There's an insatiable appetite for companionship," Harrison told HuffPost. "That's the one thing that no matter where I go in the world with this show, and why our show is so successful around the world, is because it's very simple. It's about that one thing that everybody wants, and that's love,...

They were always there "for all the right reasons." And even now, after 25 combined seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, fans still haven't gotten tired of the drama, cat fights, and hot tub hijinks that make for an amazing season.
Who should win as the best Bachelor of all: Jake Pavelka, who chose bad-girl Vienna only to break up with her in a vicious televised special? Sean Lowe, who vowed to hold off on sex with his pick, Catherine Giudici, until their summer 2013 wedding night? Or Jason Mesnick, who popped the question to Melissa Rycroft, then pulled a switcheroo at the reunion?...

Though it turns out it wasn't meant to be with Bachelor Aaron Buerge from season two of ABC's hit The Bachelor, it looks like Helene Eksterowicz has found love after all.
Helene, 37, who Aaron proposed to in the season finale but split just five weeks later, is engaged to Andrew Goodman, a senior technology consultant for Ibm. The two have been dating for a year and a half, and she couldn't be happier.

"We are very happy about planning our future together," she tells People. "Andrew is a great guy – handsome, loving, family-oriented, hardworking and very non-Hollywood, which is perfect!"
Helene, a middle school psychologist, plans to marry this summer.

Aaron has since moved on from their broken engagement as well -- he married Angye McIntosh, his hometown sweetheart, in 2009.

There weren't 29 million people watching this proposal – which was just fine by Helene Eksterowicz.
The Bachelor alum, 37, to whom Aaron Buerge popped the question during the show's second season finale, only to split five weeks later, is engaged once again.
The lucky man? Andrew Goodman, a senior technology consultant for Ibm whom Eksterowicz has been dating for a year and a half.
"We are very happy about planning our future together," the middle school psychologist tells People.
Goodman proposed during a birthday trip to the Poconos last weekend, catching Eksterowicz off-guard.

Though we’ve known sweet, Southern single mom Emily Maynard would be the next Bachelorette for a week, host Chris Harrison, who officially announced it on Good Morning America this morning, assures us it was only a done deal today. The producers have long been courting Maynard, he says. “We approached her. She was reluctant, and needed a lot of time to think about it, obviously, because there’s somebody else involved in her life, Ricki, her daughter. It was a huge decision. It wasn’t our usual approach to finding the Bachelorette,” he says. “We took it very slow.

His life was smelling like roses until the financial crisis. Aaron Buerge, star of the second season of ABC's The Bachelor way back in 2002 (quick recap: he broke off his engagement to Helene Eksterowicz shortly after proposing), has filed for personal bankruptcy in his native Springfield, Miss., where he owns a restaurant. An ironic turn of events for a guy who also runs a chain of family-owned banks. But apparently he had no choice. Per court docs, the erstwhile tube star has $9.3 million in debt against $2.3 million in personal assets and his wife, Angye, is also listed as a codebtor and their diamond wedding ring is listed among the couple's property. Buerge tells People that...

It is "The Bachelor"'s version of an all-star game when fan favorites and notorious villains from past seasons of ABC's hit dating game come together under one roof to compete for a $250,000 grand prize and a second chance at a love connection. The series, hosted by Chris Harrison and former bachelorette Melissa Rycroft, brings together 19 of the most unforgettable characters from seasons' past living together in the "Bachelor Pad" mansion. Each week they'll compete in challenges for immunity and the opportunity to go on a date with contestants of their choice. The winner of the challenge will then grant immunity to one of his or her dates via the presentation of a rose. At the end of each episode, the contestants will vote to determine which cast members will be ousted from the "Bachelor Pad." Here is the list of players: Ashley E. Because we're all about The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love -- namely because we like typing The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love -- we asked host (and EW.com blogger) the tough questions about the Most. Dramatic. Show. Ever. Here are some of his answers (the rest are in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands now): On how faked the drama is: "I'll be the first person to tell you we edit the show. We try to throw people off. If you know Trista is going to pick Ryan from Day 1, it would be boring.

At the end of the second season of The Bachelor in 2002, Aaron Buerge presented a final rose - and a ring - to elementary school psychologist Helene Eksterowicz. But as the year came to an end, so did their romance. Cut to a few years later and Buerge has finally found his mate - and it was love at first bite. "Long story short, I got some hot dog mustard on her the first time we met," says Buerge, 35, the banker and restaurant owner who confirms to People that he will marry his bride-to-be, Angye McIntosh, 33, a commercial insurance agent,...
