Yet again, Production Weekly has broken a number of casting scoops today for several upcoming projects. Today however, these are 'rumoured' connections rather than being 'signed on' or 'in talks' for these projects.
The most eye-opening is that Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Amanda Seyfried are all apparently attached to a new film adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic "The Great Gatsby".
Emily Blunt is being mentioned as a potential to join Rian Johnson's time travel thriller “Looper” which also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis.
Liev Schreiber is apparently looking into a pair of projects including the hockey comedy "The Goon" and the Samuel L. Jackson-led thriller "Jack".
Finally, Anna Faris and Andy Samberg have been linked to the body-switching comedy “Opposites Attract" which Michael Shapiro is attached to direct.

Apparently Faris and Samberg are "mentioned" for Opposites Attract, a body-switching comedy to be directed by Michael Shapiro, who has far too common a name to be correctly identified on IMDb. There's also no explanation of what "mentioned" might mean, but given how vague that is we should probably count on the story changing, or for the movie never to happen at all. You guys know how these things go by now, right? If...

Michael Shapiro recently signed on to direct the project, which is described as an underdog story about street basketball players in the NBA.
