One of Princess Diana‘s greatest legacies was her crusade for HIV and AIDS awareness — and her pioneering efforts to break the false stigma that casual contact, such as shaking hands or hugging, can spread the disease.
On Thursday she was honored for her work when her younger son, Prince Harry, 33, accepted a posthumous award from the Lgbt magazine Attitude. The Attitude Legacy Award acknowledges the groundbreaking contributions Diana made to challenging the fear that surrounded HIV and AIDS in the ’80s and ’90s.

The new entry in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is supposed to come to theaters in 2017 and be called, I think, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Which is a cool title for something that was based on a ride. It's always fun to think about that now that you can't even go to a Renaissance Fair without seeing someone (or multiple people, some professionals) dressed as Jack Sparrow.
Which, of course, makes no sense historically. But Ren Fair's are just Halloween with mead anyway.
Three cheers for Australia, the country made a deal to bring Disney's sure to massive pirate production to Queensland. I'll let the official press release take it from here:

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are a very high-profile team who have boasted many great players over the years – not least in the Premier League era from 1992 onwards.
As a result of the club’s high-profile and the fact that they play in the biggest and best league in world club football, their players often get recognised by their country’s national teams.
Spurs have had international players from loads of countries in the last 22 years – Erik Thorstvedt of Norway, Gheorghe Popescu of Romania, Jurgen Klinsmann of Germany, Hugo Lloris of France, Sandro of Brazil, Roberto Soldado of Spain, Gareth Bale of Wales, Alan Hutton of Scotland, Steven Pienaar of South Africa, Stephen Carr of the Republic of Ireland, Jan Vertonghen of Belgium, Luka Modric of Croatia, Rafael van der Vaart of the Netherlands and too many Englishmen to name, for example – and the vast majority of them earn caps at international level.

The federal government has agreed to offer the Walt Disney Studios a $21.6 million incentive to shoot Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in Australia.
That package had been offered to Disney by the previous Labor government to film the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea remake in Oz but that project was shelved after director David Fincher departed.
Disney asked the government to reassign the funds to Pirates 5 and to boost the total incentive to 30% of the budget, which is reportedly more than $200 million.
A spokesman for Arts Minister George Brandis said, "The government is pleased to agree to Disney's request to enable earlier funding to be repurposed for the production of Pirates of the Caribbean 5."
The statement continued, "Any decision to film productions in Australia (such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or Pirates of the Caribbean 5) is a commercial matter for Disney."

Melbourne, Oct 27: An Australian conservation group has accused Angelina Jolie of "disrespecting Queensland's heritage", amid fears that her new movie's set will damage a national park.
The 38-year-old actress and her team descended on Queensland last week to begin filming her World War II drama 'Unbroken' at some of Queensland's most picturesque locations.
But while Queensland Arts Minister Ian Walker branded her movie as "a major coup", environmental action group Conservation Volunteers were not impressed, the Courier Mail reported.
The film team is going to build a Pow camp at the historic Fort Lytton National.
