When taking the stand Monday in the involuntary manslaughter trial of armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, Rust ammunition supplier Seth Kenney stated that he did not provide the production crew with live rounds for their 2021 shoot.
The owner of Pdq Arm and Prop said that nine days before the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, he had supplied Gutierrez and prop master Sarah Zachry with a single box of dummy rounds for a Colt .45 revolver on Oct. 12, 2021. Kenney testified that he rattled each of the dummies he provided on set to ensure...

The supplier of guns and dummy ammunition to the ill-fated Rust production has told a New Mexico court that his company never sent live rounds to the set where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died in October 2021.
Testifying in the involuntary manslaughter trial of armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, Albuquerque-based Pdq Arm & Prop owner Seth Kenney said he provided dummy rounds to the Rust set on October 12, 2021, which had been used on the TV show 1883.
Kenney said he rattled each round prior to delivery. He said if he could not hear a rattle it was a sign the round was not to be...

The man who supplied guns, blanks and dummy ammunition to the set of “Rust” denied Monday that he had provided any live rounds to the production.
Seth Kenney, owner of Pdq Arm and Prop, took the stand on the eighth day of the involuntary manslaughter trial of Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the film’s armorer. Gutierrez Reed is accused of negligently loading a live round into Alec Baldwin’s gun, leading to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Kenney testified that he individually rattled the dummies that he supplied to the set, ensuring that each one contained BBs that indicate they cannot be fired.
“I have never sent out any dummy round that doesn’t rattle,” Kenney said. “Unless it rattles, it’s not to be trusted.”
Prosecutors have argued that it was Gutierrez Reed who was responsible for bringing a handful of live rounds that were left over from a prior production,...

The second episode has arrived, and our ‘tracker,’ the strong and agile Colter Shaw, has yet another case on his hands. This time we see a little more of the problems in his family, and yet there is a lot of mystery surrounding his brother. The second episode follows a conventional storyline and almost feels like the first half of a movie, but as the episode can be only 40 minutes long, it had to reach a conclusion quite hurriedly. Justin Hartley is milking this role, but the other characters will soon have to come in with their own backstories because, as of now, they look like they are just set dressing.
Spoilers Ahead
Why Did Colter Visit His Mother?
Colter’s mother woke up after she heard some disturbance. She must have called Colter but as he wasn’t around in the area, she went in herself to check on what had happened.

Journalists in newsrooms across the nation participated in a moment of silence this afternoon for the five Capital Gazette newspaper employees gunned down a week ago in Maryland.
The Associated Press reported about 100 people gathered at AP headquarters in New York to observe a moment of silence. The American Society of News Editors and the Associated Press Media Editors spearheaded the call for the action.
On CNN, for example, the sound went off from its airwaves at 2:33 Pm Et, the exact time a gunman opened fire at the Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis, Md. Anchor Brooke Baldwin explained the silence on the other side when sound resumed.
The 38-year-old suspect with a long-held grudge against the paper has been charged with five counts of first degree murder.
We will be having a moment of silence today at 2:33 Pm for our fallen #CapitalGazette family members at our new temporary location.

A day after a gunman killed four journalists and a sales assistant at the Capital Gazette’s office in Annapolis, a social media campaign is urging people to show their support by subscribing to the newspaper.
The campaign has attracted the attention of several high-profile figures, including former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who said that he would be subscribing and called on others to do the same.
“Some days, I don’t agree with the media. Some days, they are a fantastic sparring partner. But every day, journalists are strong allies of our democracy, shining a light into darkness,” Schwarzenegger wrote on Friday afternoon. “My heart goes out to everyone at @capgaznews. Join me in subscribing.”

CNN aired an interview with survivors of the Annapolis newsroom shooting on “Anderson Cooper 360” Thursday evening, without censoring the f-word.
Anderson Cooper warned viewers that the emotional taped interview with Capital Gazette staff writers Phil Davis and Selene San Felice “contained strong language.”
The writers described the way the attack played out, with San Felice explaining how she witnessed her colleague John McNamara get shot. Cooper asked her if she remembered hearing anything and she said the only thing she remembered hearing besides the gunshots was McNamara saying, “What the f—.”
San Felice also used the f-word when describing her response to President Donald Trump’s tweet that his thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families: “Thanks for your prayers, but I couldn’t give a f— about them if there’s nothing else,” she said.
At least five people are dead and two more are injured...
