- Born
- Tim Ritter was born in 1967. He is a writer and producer, known for Zombarella's House of Whorrors (2019), Hi-8 (Horror Independent 8) (2013) and Natasha Nighty's Boudoir of Blood (2020).
- Sold his first professional script, Truth or Dare? (1986), at age seventeen, directing the movie adaptation of it at age 18.
- The behind the scenes documentaries on the DVD releases of most of his movies are legendary in length and scope (especially Killing Spree (1987) and Creep (1995), creating quite the inspiration for aspiring no budget horror moviemakers. Ritter is affectionately known as 'The Godfather Of Video Gore'.
- Ritter states that he has read every issue of Fangoria magazine cover-to-cover from issue #1 on. It's one of his very few addictions.
- Has written two novels, The Hammer Will Fall (1999) and Unreel (2004). Hammer saw publication in South Korea, as well.
- Frequent collaborator with Joel Wynkoop and Reaper M Jones.
- No matter what, I just seem to have a difficult time when I stop being creative, so I try not to stop. It's always good to try different things.
